Effects of life settlements on terminally ill patients.
Most financial counselors at hospices rate themselves "moderately
informed" about life settlements.
Among hospice financial counselors who have had experience
with life settlements, most report positive experiences. A
survey of hospice workers found most were either neutral or
positive to the concept. The biggest obstacle was that terminally
ill patients and their families may not know about life settlements.
